Volunteer Opportunities

Help the community you live in thrive! Volunteering not only gives you the opportunity to give back to your community, but it can also help you make new friends, learn new skills, advance your career, and even make you feel happier and healthier!

The Mobile Food Panty runs every Thursday at the Gila Bend Community Center from 10 to 11 AM (this can vary depending on the arrival of the semi-truck). Volunteers are responsible for filling baskets and loading them in vehicles, and must be able to lift 50 pounds.

St. Mary's Food Bank requirements: Volunteer Application, a Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement, and attend a Civil Rights Training.

Please contact Ericka Amezcua at 928-683-2244 to schedule a time to meet, fill out the required documents, and receive the Civil Rights Training. An ID card will also be required.
