Planning and ZOning Commission

The Town of Gila Bend's Planning and Zoning Commission is a five (5) Member volunteer panel of Gila Bend residents. The Commission is tasked with making recommendations to the Town Council with regards to regulations and restrictions concerning the erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair or use of buildings, structures or land. The Commission also advises and makes recommendations on all zoning or rezoning, as well as plats, general plan amendments, and the establishment of various zoning districts.

Members

Members volunteer for a four (4) year staggered term, and are appointed by the Mayor upon Council approval. The Commission shall elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson from among its own members, who shall serve for a period of one year or until their successors are elected and qualified.

Every 3rd Thursday of the month at 4:30 pm, as needed; special meetings as needed. Town Hall, 644 W Pima St.
