  • Anyone doing business within the Town of Gila Bend town limits must have a current and valid business license.

  • Yes. Whether you have a separate business location or conduct business from your home, if your business is within the town limits you will need a Town of Gila Bend Business License.

  • Yes. No matter the length of time you plan to conduct business, if you are conducting business within the town limits, a business license is required. A Peddler/Solicitor License is the type of license you will be required to have if you only plan to conduct business for one or two days.

  • If you are on the early voter list, you will receive a postcard in the mail asking you to choose which party ballot you wish to receive for the Primary Election. If voting at a polling place on Election Day, you will be given the option to choose a party ballot at that time.

  • You will need to bring identification as it is required that a voter show proof of identity at the polling place before receiving a ballot.

  • You have until midnight on the 29th day prior to the election to update your voter registration or register to vote. Example: to vote in the 2016 Primary Election, you must update your voter registration or be registered to vote by midnight on August 1, 2016. ALL VOTER FORMS THAT ARE MAILED IN MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE THE DEADLINE.

  • If you did not mail your early ballot in time, you can skip the line by asking the poll workers to show you where to drop off your early ballot. You can also turn in your early ballot at any polling place within the county where you live.

  • A provisional ballot is given to anyone who is not on the polling location's roster or if the voter was unable to provide a valid from of ID. There are a few reasons why your name was not included on the roster. - You recently moved and did not update your voter information in time - You voted at a polling place not assigned to you - You requested an early ballot by mail - Your voter registration is no longer active or you are not registered to vote at all If you voted at the correct polling place, provided proper identification and are registered to vote in the county in which you voted, your provisional ballot will be counted.

The ballot will be valid and counted after you provide ID to your polling location before 7:00pm on Election Day OR at the county elections office within five business days after the election.

  • No. If you are registered with a recognized party, you will only be able to vote with that party's ballot and that party's candidates in the Primary Election. The General Election ballot will contain the names of candidates who win in the Primary Election, along with any independent candidates. The General Election ballot is not party specific.

  • In the state of Arizona, there is no "Independent Party". An independent voter does not belong to ANY party, but is still able to vote for ONE of the recognized parties in the Primary Election.

  • If you received your ballot in the mail already, then you have already missed the registration deadline to the current election and you will NOT be able to request a different ballot type or change your party affiliation for the current election. However, if the ballot that was mailed to you was lost or spoiled, you may receive a new ballot of the same party you are registered in.

A utility bill may be for electric, gas, water, solid waste, sewer, telephone, cellular phone, or cable TV. - Bank or credit union statement dated withing 90 days of the date of the election - Valid AZ Vehicle Registration - Indian census card - Property tax statement of voter's residence - Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification - AZ vehicle insurance card - Recorder's Certificate - Valid US federal, state, or local government issued ID, including a voter registration card issued by the County Recorder - Any mailing to the registered voter that is marked "Official Election Material"
