Sports Leagues
Gila Bend Parks and Recreation offers a variety of sports leagues throughout the year for all ages. Our leagues welcome all levels of skill with no tryouts. Everyone plays!
Youth Sports programs are a great way to introduce young kids to concepts of fair play and have been proven to help build self-esteem. Participation in youth sports also helps develop the mind as well as the body.
Adult Sports are a fantastic way to add some extra activity to your week! They are also a terrific way to catch up with old friends and hopefully make some new ones!

Youth Leagues
Youth T-Ball and Baseball are a town favorite! Registration begins in January, and the season starts in March, running for about 6 weeks. The Baseball age group is 10-15, and the Baseball games are Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm and 7:30pm. T-ball is for 5-9 years old and games are on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:15pm and 6:15pm.
REGISTRATION FOR 2025: January 6 - February 3
Baseball: Ages 9-13 $10/Player (includes team jersey)
Teeball: Ages 5-8 $10/Player (includes team jersey)
2025 SEASON: March 11- April 10
Practice Schedule: TBD
Parents will need a copy of each player's birth certificate, a signed Medical Release, a signed Parental Code of Conduct, and the Registration Form. Please bring ALL required documents along with fees to the Gila Bend Town Hall by the deadline on February 3, 2025. A Late Fee of $15 will be applied to any registrants after February 3, 2025. Absolutely NO registrations will be accepted after February 7, 2025.
Registration begins July 1, 2024
Our Youth Soccer League begins in mid-September to late October and runs for about 4 weeks. We have two age groups this year, 5-8, 9-14 years old. Games are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
The 2024 Soccer Season runs from Sept. 4 to October 3
Registration is required to play and there is a $10 registration fee* per child. Please make your check payable to the Town of Gila Bend at 644 West Pima Street. You will need to fill out and turn in the Player Registration Form, the Medical Release Form, and the Code of Conduct in order to be considered eligible for play.
Please make sure to bring ALL required documents along with fees to the Gila Bend Town Hall by July 26th at 3 PM. LATE REGISTRATION fee is $25/child. Absolutely NO REGISTRATIONS will be accepted after August 2nd.
*The registration fee includes your child's team jersey.
Registration is required and registration begins August 5, 2025 through September 5, 2025 and the registration fee is $10.00. Late Registration begins September 6th, 2025 through September 12th, 2025 and the late registration fee is $15.00.
